| | High quality extension cables (suitable for Sky, *Sky+, *Sky+HD, Virgin, Telewest, NTL etc.) Made by WEBRO * You may prefer to scroll down and order "twin" cable for Sky+ and Sky+HD * We may supply Triax TX100 instead of WF100. TX100 is a direct equivalent and usually slightly dearer but we will not charge extra. | | Single WF100 cable is Available in SIX colours! (Twin is white or black.) Also available on reels. Very useful if you want to match the colour of your decoration/furniture or to make it easier to distinguish which cable is which when you run multiple cables down to one point. We recommend black for the LNB (dish) connections. Brown for UHF TV aerials. Red for FM and Yellow for DAB. White is handy for matching wall colours and green is suggested for diplexed systems where the cable carries more than one signal (e.g. Loft Box). Note: If you need to pass the lead through a hole (or fit a rubber boot) you can simply unscrew one "F" plug then screw it back on afterwards. Minimum cut 0.25m Maximum cut 30 metres due to handling difficulties. (Or available on 100m and 250m reels - click HERE). Suitable for Sky, Virgin cable TV, Freeview etc. Read CUSTOMER COMMENT | We offer cables cut to standard lengths. If you need an in-between size please order the next longer length and add precise instructions in the shopping cart. If you need more than 1 lead of the same colour, please add it to the shopping cart as many times as you want OR simply change the quantities in the cart. |

WF100 (twin) cable in Black, White, Brown Also available on reels. |
More info | This is Webro WF100 twin foam cable (choose black, white or brown). The same EN50117 electrical specification as above but it's twin "shotgun" style and comes as a 125 metre length on a big wooden drum. The advantage of this twin foam cable is that it's ideal for Sky-HD (High Definition). It looks neater than two separate cables and you don't need as many wall clips. It may be easier to pull up a cavity wall or through a conduit than two single cables. However, you can easily separate the cables at each end. (You can paint it. Available in cut lengths below) Suitable for Sky, Sky+, Sky+HD, Virgin cable TV, Freeview etc. |

(Unfortunately, it's physically impossible for our girls to re-reel more than 20 metres, due to the weight and relative stiffness of the twin cable.) LNB extension leads. Also available on reels. Suitable for Sky, Sky+, Sky+HD, Virgin cable TV, Freeview etc. We offer cables cut to standard lengths and on reels. WF65 Twin (shotgun) |
More info TWIN | "Shotgun" twin coaxial cable. CT63 specification, white or black only (WF65 by WEBRO). As used for "Sky-Plus" Digibox. This cable is double-shielded with copper foil and copper braid and gives a reasonable compromise between signal loss and ease of installation. Alternative choice of Aluminium foil screen. Each cable is only 4.8 mm thick and, together, the pair can be pushed through a standard 10 mm hole (as used for obsolete CT100/H109/WC100). We recommend 20 metre maximum length before LNB signal loss might become a problem. You can use a longer length if you increase the dish size. (For piping UHF signals you can use a much longer length since losses at UHF frequencies are lower - around 0.3dB/metre). If you need more than 20m, please buy a 100m reel because cut lengths over 20m are difficult for us to handle (heavy and we have no empty reels to wind it onto). "Shotgun" WF65 has significant losses at LNB frequencies (hence my recommendation to limit runs to about 20 metres) but its losses at UHF frequencies are much lower. At only 4 mm diameter, "shotgun" is a convenient and unobtrusive cable to use for indoor runs. If you need to run only one cable, simply pull it apart. PLEASE NOTE! WF65 has a thinner central core wire than standard coaxial cable. If the LNB or tuner connector that you will plug it in to has been used with a thicker cable previously, its contacts may have sprung apart and might not make reliable contact with WF65. Copper screened 75p per metre (maximum cut 20 metres due to weight, handling and signal loss) or £59.75 per 100m reel (plus £7.50 carriage UK mainland only) Aluminium screened 70p per metre or £55.75 per 100m reel. SPECIAL "F" CONNECTORS NEEDED! See our COAXIAL CABLE SPECIFICATIONS page. CT63 / WF65 shotgun cable |

Minimum cut 0.5m maximum 20m. Also available on reels. To order two leads add a second length from below. Choose WHITE or BLACK Need a second length? WF65 twin (shotgun) Aluminium screen version has slightly higher losses than copper screen but is more flexible and cheaper. Ideal for short (up to 10m) LNB runs indoors or for longer (50m) runs for UHF or aerial or audio etc. Choose WHITE or BLACK Also available on reels. |
WF125 cable (single) by WEBRO |
| | (CT125 equivalent) black, foam-filled, low-loss. (Foam dielectric for better outdoor endurance with copper braid on copper foil). This cable is essential to minimise signal loss on runs of 40 metres or more. IMPORTANT: This cable is stiff and should not be connected directly to your satellite receiver because it could put excessive strain on the input connector. We recommend using a short length of WF100 or one of our "dish extension cables" (see above). Please note that our rubber boots will not fit on WF125 cable or its WF125PLUG 'F' connectors. Silicone grease must be used with the large WF125PLUG 'F' connectors. Very low loss. See cable specifications. Because of the weight and difficulty in handling, WF125 is not offered in cut lengths. (NOT available in "twin" or "shotgun" style.) Please Click HERE to go to cable reel page. |

| Cable Tidy grommet |
| If you can avoid using a wall socket your signal will be better. Tidy the hole in your wall by tapping this plastic plug into it. 7 mm hole through centre. Requires 10 mm hole in wall. Choose translucent white plastic or black. |
| We don't stock twin grommets, simply because most of our DIY customers don't have access to an industrial drill that will put a 15mm bit through brick. As the cable usually has to be split immediately after it passes through a twin grommet, it might as well be split before it goes through the wall. The drip loops look tidier. An alternative would be to connect the cables to a twin 'F' connector plate. If there was a significant demand, we would consider stocking twin grommets. But we have to buy them in lots of 100, so I don't want a large bag taking up shelf space unnecessarily. Cable entry cover |
 | Hides untidy holes drilled in the wall. Brown (picture) or White plastic. Can be glued in place with silicone adhesive. Size: typically 11 cm x 11 cm x 3 cm (may vary because we buy from various manufacturers). Easily accommodates 4 x 7 mm cables. |
| Silicone adhesive alone |

| Weatherproof your LNB connections! |
| SatCure's unique flexible Rubber Boot is suitable for single-, twin-, and for older quad-output LNB "F" connectors where a sliding cover is not fitted - essential to keep out moisture. Automatic discount for 10 or more (65p), 100 or more (55p), 1000 or more (50p). Slide it up the cable to weatherproof the "F" connector. MORE INFO UV resistant and guaranteed for 10 years if used with silicone grease as described. Note: rubber boots can not be fitted to cables with compression 'F' plugs - only to cables with plugs that unscrew. |
| Silicone Grease |

| Self Amalgamating tape just 2p per inch! |
| Remove plastic backing, stretch it to twice its length and it welds to itself as you bind it. Essential for waterproofing "F" connector joints outside. Good for car radiator hose repairs, too! 10 inch length 20p or full reel £4.95. Typical LNB connection needs 5 inches. (Rubber boots for F connectors available - see connector page) |
| Cable Threader Straws |
| | (luminous straws to pass through wall cavity) Drill a 10 mm hole and push the "straw" through the wall. It's rigid enough to force its way through insulation material. Then pass the cable through and pull the "straw" out. |
| Alkathene Conduit |
| | Cable protection conduit pipe 25 mm outer diameter x approx. 25 metre long. Internal diameter 20 mm. Suitable for burying in soil or concrete. (Because of friction you probably can't push WF100 cable more than 20m up this pipe so it has to be cut then rejoined with coupler below). It has been suggested that you can super glue the end of some strong thread to a heavy ball bearing or glass "marble" and roll that through the pipe. Use it to pull through some strong cord or fishing line. Then use that to pull the cable through. (Please let us know if you have a better method!) Mark says: I do have a better method. If you attach a ball of tissue - enough to fill the pipe but not tight - to some light string and put it in the pipe one end, you can suck it through using a vacuum cleaner from the other end. I haven't tried longer than 50 metres, but it easily gets through that. |
| PE2822 coupler for joining sections of Alkathene pipe. Provides a watertight joint. |
| You can fit 4 x 7 mm diameter cables through the conduit. Use plenty of talcum powder or French chalk to lubricate it. |
